Chloe Dupuy

Is a University of Texas at Austin student studying Exercise Science, specializing in Medical Rehabilitation. She began dancing at three and has trained in many dance styles and repertoires. She attended Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, training in dance styles such as modern, ballet, and jazz. During her time at BTWHSPVA, she trained with the Performance Ensemble, where she learned pieces and techniques in genres of dance such as flamenco, African, contemporary, hip hop, tap, jazz, modern, Folklorico, Horton, Graham, Limon, musical theater, and pointe. She spent her summers training in New York City under the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, emphasizing ballet, modern and nutritional health, and training for dancers. Since 8, Chloe has also had a dual emphasis on commercial and concert dance. Her teaching style emphasizes the importance of the love of dance and how this can be cultivated in a healthy, encouraging, uplifting atmosphere for growing dancers. She has been in works in collaboration with Brucewood Dance Company, Ailey II, BTWHSPVA, and Ballet Austin, and has had featured roles in Repertory Ensemble II and World Dance Ensemble.
