Veronica Boccardo began her early training in Margarita Island, Venezuela doing Ballet and Flamenco at the age of five. She has called Austin her home since 2006. She was in the Sun Dancers drill team at Westwood High School and has performed in their school musical "West Side Story" in 2013. In 2017, she graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a B.F.A. In Dance and with a certification in dance education through the Uteach dance program. She has performed works by Alvin Rangel, Shen Jun, Charles Anderson, etc. Including UT's production musical of "Little Women" as well as created her own choreography pieces. During the summers, she has had training at Joffrey Ballet, Mark Morris Dance Group, the MET Houston, as well as training/mentoring at ABT Austin and Ballet West. Within the classical ballet world, She competed for YAGP and has performed Nutcracker roles like principal reed flute for Ballet Southwest Academy and the Arabian pas de deux for Allegro Ballet of Houston. She has worked commercially for music videos and freelance projects. She has had extensive training in Vaganova technique with teachers like Ms. Jennifer Felkner and Valery Lantratov however, her teaching repertoire spreads throughout the spectrum, including Jazz, contemporary, Hip-Hop, trained in social dances (Ballroom, Latin, country) by Sonia Jupiter (Sonia's World of Dance), improvisation, and more.
